Ann Marie joined the Rooney Family Law team in February 2020. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in Child and Family Law. Ann Marie is accredited as a Family Law Specialist and a Child Law Specialist by the Law Society of Scotland. She is also instructed independently by the courts as a Child Welfare Reporter. She provides Reports to the Courts in disputed residence and contact cases relating to the welfare of children.
Anne Marie has expertise in all aspects of Financial provision divorce cases including high value, complex cases. She also specialises in Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements as well as Cohabitation Agreements.
She empathises with her clients and provides clear and focused advice tailored to each client’s needs. She has a pragmatic approach and is resolution driven.
When not at work Anne Marie likes to spend time with her family. Her hobbies include walking and cycling in the great outdoors and pottering about in the garden. She is an avid reader and enjoys relaxing with a good book.
